ABOUT ME
My name is Griffin Witta and I am the owner and head performance coach at Coded Performance. I am 22 years old and grew up playing both hockey and baseball, eventually competing at the junior college level in baseball. My own playing career was marked by setbacks, including an elbow surgery and a labrum tear that sidelined me for two years.
During that time I discovered a deep passion for strength and conditioning, anatomy, applied biomechanics and skill acquisition. Navigating my own challenges, I was able not only to return to throwing pain free but also able to access positions and ranges of motion I was not capable of doing before. That personal journey shaped my approach as a coach and continues to fuel my commitment to helping others move, perform and compete at the highest level.
I have had the opportunity to work with athletes across high school, college and professional baseball as well as general population clients ranging from 20 to 70 years old. My coaching is built around understanding each client’s goals, identifying limitations and creating a clear path forward to maximize both performance and quality of life. My goal is not just to help you get fit but to help you move and feel better than you ever have before.
I hold a certification in Applied Biomechanics from Pre Script, have spent time in the CrossFit space studying skill acquisition and Olympic weightlifting, and have served as the Director of Performance at The Shed Athletics for the past two years. I bring this combined experience and passion into every training environment with a focus on developing athletes who are durable, adaptable and built to succeed long term.
